Characteristics

Printing aids are substances which improve the printability or promote certain properties of the ink. They support the problem-free printing process and ensure the quality of the print product as well.

Each printer wants to use the inks out of the tin without any additives because a wrong dosage of printing aids can lead to problems in the printing process or in the subsequent processing of the printing product.

Printers use printing aids when the standard quality of the inks for the production is no more able to fulfil the requirements of practice.

When using printing aids, make sure that the recommended addition quantity is adhered to and consult your customer service. In this way, the mode of action of the printing aid can be used in a targeted manner. Overdosage usually leads to printing problems, underdosage has no effect.
